VISION AND PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING

The Nevis International Secondary School believes that the education process must be guided by the recognition that each student possesses a unique set of skills and abilities.

We believe in the importance of a safe, interactive and student centered teaching and learning environment that challenges students to develop intellectual independence, creativity, curiosity and respect for diversity of thought and origin. Through positive reinforcements and an individualized approach we believe that students will be empowered to develop the skills and self-confidence needed to achieve their dreams.

We believe in the power of diversity in education and the importance of an individualized teaching approach to meet each student's needs.

The School seeks to create a culture of excellence in academic, professional, ethical and philanthropic endeavours as our students are guided on the path towards becoming global citizens.
